-Gould Construction was hired for the Riverview SRTS Trail and Hardwick Bridge Project.
-The historic 100+ year old Hardwick Bridge underwent structural improvements, wood decking replacement and new period correct lattice steel railing to provide the trail connection across the river.
-Designed to provide pedestrian and bike access from the Westbank entrance on CR 109 to the tie in at the Rio Grande Trail on the south end near CR 154.
-The trail is approximately 3800’ in total length and includes a mix of new asphalt and concrete trail construction.
-Multiple retaining walls constructed to support the trail platform along the banks of the Roaring Fork River.
