-Design-Build project, funded to mitigate safety concerns regarding seasonal rockfall and provide a separate pathway for the pedestrians/bicyclists that utilize Castle Creek Road.
-Wall construction included: colored shotcrete and redi-rock block walls, shoulder excavation, stabilization and base rock placement.
-Included clearing and grubbing of existing trees and vegetation, existing utility relocations, significant rock fall mitigation.
-Installed new drainage structures and head wall extensions, colored concrete speed humps, concrete moment slabs and asphalt roadway paving.
-Installed new vehicle and pedestrian guardrails.
-Performed roadway signage/stripping, minor landscaping, and topsoil and seeding.
